In this lesson I'd like to show you how and why you need to get yo'self your own domain to promote Insider Internet Dating.

let's be honest, is there anything uglier or less desirable to click on then a big, long OBVIOUS affiliate link? 

Especially ones that have all sorts of tracking id's added to it.  In any case, people are getting more savvy these days and many people know an affiliate link when they see it.  The reality is that some people just don't like it when they know they're giving some of their money away to an affiliate.

So, the best way to combat this is to use a masked affiliate domain... one that is pretty to look at and is "easier" to click.

For instance, you could use "secretdatingmethod.com" or "mydatingsecrets.com".

Think about it this way... once you get a domain to run your affiliate link through, you now own your very own website which you can advertise ANYWHERE online or offline and you will make 55% of every sale that comes through your domain.

Having your own domain allows you to advertise in LOTS of new ways that you wouldn't be able to advertise some ugly looking affiliate link. Just make it as short, descriptive, and enticing as possible.

You'll want to use your own domain for your PPC ads so you can get around Google's policy of showing only 1 domain per ad on any given keyword at any given time.

You MUST enable "masking" or use the "frame" setting in the forwarded settings in your domain registrar.  If you only fwd your domain but don't "mask" it, your ad will get shut down by google because your display and destination URLs don't match. So you need to mask it also.

There's another HUGE reason why you want to use a masked domain (that most people have never thought of)... which will increase the amount of sales you make as an affiliate.

It's something you probably don't realize that happens many times when you just use a standard affiliate link to advertise...

Yet another reason to use your own masked affiliate domain to promote IID has to do with the fact that many people have both work and home computers. 

Here's something that happens ALL THE TIME:

Someone sees your ad at home one night and click on it.  They get to my site and are interested, but don't buy right away. 

Well, the IID affiliate system will place a cookie on their computer telling them that the referral came from YOU, but you'll only get credit for the sale if that person ends up buying on that computer.

What happens when they go to work the next day and end up buying on their work computer?  Well, I still get the sale, but your commission is gone.

Now that you own your own domain to advertise in any way you want for Insider Internet Dating, let's start talking about a few options.

Since most article directories, craigslist, forums, and lots of other websites don't allow 'blatant' affiliate links, you can now get around that with your masked domain, since it simply looks like a normal web URL instead of an affiliate link.

Use it in your PPC ads, squidoo lens, youtube video, hub page, landing page, and watch your IID sales roll in.

There is TONS of traffic available out there for this niche guys! 

With a little creativity and a little work on diversifying your traffic sources, you can tap into a HUGE amount of traffic and make great money.
